The TeamO Offshore 170N BackTow Lifejacket is a specialized personal flotation device designed for both inshore and offshore sailing. It features TeamO's patented BackTow™ technology, which addresses safety concerns in man-overboard (MOB) situations, especially when the individual remains tethered to the vessel.

BackTow™ Technology: In the event of a MOB scenario where the wearer is still connected to the boat via a tether, the lifejacket can be manually activated by pulling a handle located on the right-hand side. This action rotates the wearer into a face-up, seated position, allowing them to be towed alongside the vessel safely. This design reduces the risk of injury during recovery and provides a strong point for attachment, facilitating easier retrieval using equipment like a halyard and winch.

- Inflation Methods: Available with three inflation options: ProSensor Elite, Hammar Hydrostatic MA1, or UML Manual. Sailors can choose the system that best fits their needs and sailing conditions.

- After inflation, the wearer manually pulls the large BackTow handle that is available on top of the right hand lung. The wearer is then turned in to a face-up seated position in the water and they are towed alongside the vessel safely.
